We provide vital support for the Armed Forces community
We are here to help members of the Armed Forces community and their families, and we are not going anywhere. Our support starts after one day of service and continues through life, long after service is over.
Government Support
- Local councils must assist veterans who are legally homeless or at risk within 8 weeks, offering emergency housing, advice, and longer-term accommodation www.gov.uk+1.
- Op Fortitude is a government-backed referral service providing advice and emergency accommodation for veterans in crisis www.gov.uk+1.
- Veterans are often exempt from local connection rules, making it easier to access social housing across the UK The Big Issue.
- Funding initiatives, such as the Reducing Veteran Homelessness Programme and the Spring Statement allocation of £33 million, support housing and mental health services for veterans
